Full time work with regular overtime, free parkingImmediate on-going long-term work 06:00-13:30/13:30 -21:00£12.15 per hour for days, £13.51 per hour for night shiftWe are recruiting for driven Automotive Assembler Operative to join a key car part supplier, located in the Central/North Birmingham area. This opportunity offers earning rates of up to £13.51 per hour alongside the opportunity to work overtime. This includesthe opportunity of receiving industry leading training within an automated manufacturing environment.This is a renowned global manufacturer, where you would be building wheel frames and components for several major automotive brands. They are a progressive, fast-paced warehouse, offering the potential for lots of overtime as well as training.Our Automotive Assembler Operative role will offer a starting rate of £12.15 - £13.51 per hour, which will increase to £12.15 upon completion of 12 weeks service. Overtime is paid at premiums which range from time x1.3 to double time depending on your levelof commitment with working hours.The company are looking to offer long-term positions within a dynamic, team-focussed automotive environment, with excellent amenities including a canteen and free public parking facilities.In order to be successful for the Automotive Assembler Operative, candidates must bring the following attributes:- Ability to use a range of hand tools (e.g. power drills, glue guns) and industrial equipment (e.g. pop rivet guns)- Proven background on a fast-paced automated track/ assembly line or as an Automotive Assembler Operative- Experienced with running machinery (e.g. press machines, laser welding machines, CNC)- Ability to carry out the tasks expected of a Automotive Assembler Operative whilst meeting strict build targets)- Comfortable with working from basic technical drawings & having a keen eye for detail (quality inspection is a huge part of your initial role)- Understanding of automotive principles (e.g. 5s) would be advantageous but not essentialWorking hours for our Automotive Assembler Operative role will run from 06:00-13:30/ 13:30- 21:00 rotating weekly (Monday to Friday).If youre interested in applying for our Automotive Assembler Operative role email
