Do you have experience with gate automation or similar Through expansion, we need another field-based Engineer to join our busy installation, service, and reactive breakdown team covering the East and /or West Midlands (depending on your location).BASIC SALARY: £30,000 - £40,000BENEFITS: Company Van (Including some personal use!) Fuel Card Mobile Phone 20 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays Company Pension Standard working hours Monday - Friday Paid overtime availableLOCATION: Midlands - field based across the East and West Midlands at various sites - covering Wolverhampton to Derby, down to Northampton and everywhere in between. You will more than likely visit the Leicestershire site for a weekly restock.COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Wolverhampton, Birmingham, Coventry, Northampton, Derby, Leicester and everywhere in between. Our existing team has years of experience with service, installation, fabrication and diagnostics, and we are looking for someone like you tocomplement that successful team. JOB DESCRIPTION: Gate Installation Engineer, Gate Automation Engineer, Automatic Gate Engineer - Fabrication, Welding, Access Control Systems You will work to strict deadlines when installing new Gate Automation Systems and/or undertaking the maintenance of existing systems with about a 50/50 split. Our clients are split between Public, Private and residential (with an approximate 33% split). So,it is varied and no two weeks will be the same for you.You will work solo as a Gate Automation Engineer and as part of a Gate Automation team and will liaise with our in-house fabrication workshop team between your projects. If you only want to do service and breakdowns, but not install, or vice versa, talk tous we might be able to accommodate you. Working 40 hours per week, you will be involved in the installation of new systems, retrofit and fault finding. REQUIREMENTS:Gate Installation Engineer, Gate Automation Engineer, Automatic Gate Engineer - Fabrication, Welding, Access Control Systems In order to be successful as a Gate Installation Engineer you will have previous experience with some sort of gate automation or similar. e.g doors, barriers, bollards. You will also ideally have previous experience in gate installation, metal / steel fabricationand welding.You will also have: A valid UK Driving License Knowledge of door entry systems, access control panels or door automation systems would be beneficial. Good knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety aspects related to your job Any existing welding experience - if not, we will happily train you!THE COMPANY:We have been manufacturing, servicing, and repairing electric gates, barriers, bollards, and access control systems for over 20 years now.
