Job Description

Role: Audit and Accounts SeniorSalary: £30,000 - £35,000Location: BirminghamOverview:Quinton Davies is working on behalf of a medium sized independent practice firm based in the West Midlands who are looking for an Audit and Accounts Senior due to a period of sustained growth.Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Preparation
  • Amending accounts
  • VAT returns
  • Management Accounts
  • Meeting with clients (including face to face)
  • Supervise and assist junior staff that are allocated to the Audit job
  • Attend Manager and client meetings
  • Audit preparation up to completion and sign off from manager level
  • Dealing with Audit and Accounts of a heavy client base
  • Reporting directly to Managers/partners
    • Experience / Qualifications Required:
  • ACA/ ACCA part or fully qualified (or equivalent)
  • Strong communication skills, both internally and directly with clients.
  • Demonstrable experience of supervising others and delegation of work.
  • Demonstrable ability to organise self and others, such that you can work on several different assignments at one time.
