Job Description

Your new roleGovernance and Performance, is responsible for leading on a range of supporting business activities across the Digital Services Directorate, providing direct support and visibility on Digital Service performance, finance, governance and business planning,along with actionable insights that inform both tactical and strategic decisions. Our key aim is to deliver a robust, high-quality, customer-focused business support function to our stakeholders and as a newly forming team this is an exciting opportunity tojoin us at a time when we are modernising our ways of working and delivering significant advancements in our digital services.As an Associate Delivery Manager, you will be one of the main points of contact across the Digital Services Directorate for the team, supporting either the business planning process or the management of IT contracts with a range of administrative duties.You will be happy to get involved in several processes to ensure the smooth running of meetings, including preparing and planning the agenda, minuting meetings and following up with any required actions. The successful candidate will be able to prioritisetheir workload, complete tasks to agreed deadlines, thereby ensuring a smooth and efficient process for our customers.This role can be based in either Leeds, Birmingham or Bristol with the flexibility to work remotely but will require travel when necessary to other locations.What youll be leading on

  • Diary management including arranging meetings and room bookings
  • Preparing meeting agendas, minuting meetings, recording and chasing actions
  • Updating spreadsheets and team records (including Oracle and ServiceNow)
  • Quality assurance of data submitted by project teams
  • Assisting in the preparation of business planning reports
To be successful
  • Well organised
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written
  • Good IT skills across a range of Microsoft Office applications (including Excel).
  • Previous administrative support experience, ideally in a PMO or governance environment
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, and deliver work on time to the required quality standard
  • Previous experience in a financial role, is desirable
