The Role Due to rapid growth and continuous success we are delighted to confirm that we are currently seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join our Fortem Planned Works team at our Birmingham branch. As the Assistant Site Manager, you willwork with sub-contractors, trades and suppliers to ensure works are delivered against programme, within budget and compliant including health and safety standards on multiple sites. Required experience of external facade works to high rise buildings and knowledgeworking with mast climbers and complex scaffolds. This role is in the Planned Works team, working on Kitchens & Bathrooms for Birmingham City Council. Essential and Desirable Criteria Essential: * Excellent communication skills, verbal and written * Problem solving skills, analytical capability * Ability to work well under pressure * IT skills * Scaffold Inspection, PASMATrained * Ability to engage people and build strong working relations with trades, colleagues, client and managers * Worked in a planned works environment/site * NVQ3 certificate or equivalent. CSCS Card, SSS.
