Job Description

Assistant Merchandiser -Maternity CoverBirmingham - up to £33,000Would you like to work for a well known homewares business Our client are a beautiful well known brand offering homewares products to their customers. The brand have a wide category of carefully ranged branded and own branded products.What to expect in this role as Assistant Merchandiser:

  • Work closely with buyers and other merchandisers to plan plant product ranges
  • Managing budgets with the guidance of Merchandise Manager
  • Detailed sales forecasting to maximise sales and profit according to the category strategy
  • Controlling stock levels within budgets using a WSSI
  • Supplier management
  • Ensuring data integrity in our catalogue planning spreadsheets
    • What you need to be a successful in this role as Assistant Merchandiser:
  • Merchandising or demand planning experience is essential in a UK retailer or brand
  • Good communication and motivation skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and be highly analytical
  • Professional, articulate and numerate to a high level
  • Ability to prioritise, work accurately and effectively under pressure
