They are looking for an Assembly Fitter that has strong experience in assembly within precision manufacturing.Assembly FitterJob Description

  • Build, test and certify all products to customer requirements
  • Interact with Production, Development and Engineering teams to maintain product supply and in the introduction of new products
  • Liaise with Internal and External inspectors
  • Shot blasting, Spraying and Etching components as required
  • Maintaining accurate records including the in-house Seiki system
  • Identify and seek to continually improve processes
  • Participate in cross functional teams
  • Ensure continued communication and good relationships with external and internal customers
Assembly FitterEssential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • Working in a similar role within a precision engineering/manufacturing environment
  • Strong experience working from engineering drawings and works instructions.
  • Confident in the use of hand tools, power tools, and testing methods.
  • Previous experience using measurements and measuring tools e.g. gauges.
  • Experience of working with and to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Element Sheets (WESs).
Assembly FitterDesirable Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • Apprentice trained
  • Knowledge of the Defence/Nuclear industry and standards and accreditations
