Our client is a UKAS accredited and nationally recognised company within the asbestos industry. They are now recruiting for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Asbestos Trainer based in or around the Birmingham area. The ideal applicant will be able to demonstratetheir expert knowledge and experience delivering asbestos training courses to internal and external clients. The successful candidate will hold the P402/3/4/5 certificates and will ideally hold the CCP/Assessor qualification. Applications from Wolverhampton,Coventry, Leicester, and the surrounding area. Qualifications & Experience:The successful candidate will hold a combination of the P402/3/4/5 and W504 asbestos certificates and will ideally hold the CCP/Assessor qualifications.Must have significant experience carrying out asbestos audits on a variety of site types. Previous experience in asbestos training background is beneficial but not essential. Must be fully conversant in relevant health & safety policies, procedures and guidelines relating to asbestos. Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal. Competent with Microsoft office package.Key Responsibilities:Delivering a portfolio of UKATA and BOHS approved asbestos-related training courses.Contributing to design of courses - content and structure and strategizing how courses will be delivered. Carry out asbestos audits on a variety of site types ensuring compliance with all relevant and asbestos related health & safety guidelines. Ensuring that existing courses are update in line with legislative changes.Overseeing and reviewing trainers to ensure they are up to date on current legislation.
