Our client, an established UKAS Asbestos Consultancy, who provides several professional asbestos services to national clients, is currently recruiting for an experienced and qualified Asbestos Surveyor based in the Birmingham area. The successful candidatewill have extensive experience undertaking the full range of asbestos surveys to a mixed portfolio of site bases. Applications from Bromwich, Coventry, Dudley, Wolverhampton, and the surrounding areas would be considered Experience / Qualifications: The applicant must have attained the P402 or the equivalent RSPH qualification. Will have significant practical experience in asbestos surveying and within the asbestos industry.Must be fully conversant with the Health & Safety procedures pertaining to asbestos.Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Must be competent in using the computer.Key Tasks:Carrying out asbestos Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various buildings - including commercial and industrial sites.Collating and producing comprehensive asbestos reports.Building and maintaining a good rapport with clients.Complying to the Health & Safety procedures with regards to asbestos.Dealing with any issues effectively and appropriately.Attributes:In general, the successful candidate will be an all-rounder, reliable and have the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
