Job Description

Our client is looking for an Armoury Apprentice to join their team in Birmingham, B6.Within this role, you will be working towards gaining a nationally recognised Level 3 qualification in Metal Fabrication.Hours of Work: 7:00 am3:45 pm, Monday to Thursday. 7:00 am - 12 noon Friday.Armoury Apprentice Responsibilities:

  • Measure customers for bespoke helmets and cuirasses.
  • Perform second fits on customers to adjust manufactured cuirasses.
  • Use the English Wheel, automatic hammers and other tools to manufacture cuirass bodies and helmet shells.
  • Hand manufacture of helmet and cuirass accoutrements.
Although you are primarily employed as an armourer, you may at times be required to assist in other areas of the factory, including in direct production roles.
