Job Description

Area Sales Manager - Kitchen Doors & AccessoriesJob Title: Area Sales Manager - Kitchen Doors & AccessoriesIndustry Sector: Kitchens, Kitchen Surfaces, Kitchen Doors, Kitchen Cabinets, Kitchen Appliances, Kitchen Accessories, Kitchen Retailers, High End Studios, KBB Retailers, Construction Sales, Area Sales Manager, Sales ManagerArea to be covered: MidlandsRemuneration: £35,000-£38,000 Neg. + up to £15,000 CommissionBenefits: Audi hybrid company car & full benefitsThe role of the Area Sales Manager - Kitchen Doors & Accessories will involve:

  • Field sales position promoting a high end quality range of both manufactured and distributed kitchen doors & components (currently 50/50, but ultimately the goal is to be at least 80% bespoke products)
  • 90% of your time will be spent selling to high end independent kitchen retailers and kitchen showrooms/ studios
  • The remaining 10% of your time will be spent selling to kitchen manufacturers, cabinet manufacturers / OEMs
  • Inheriting a territory that is currently performing below budget, so fantastic opportunity to make a name for yourself
  • 60& account management/ account development, 40% new business development
  • Tasked with growing the area from circa £55,000 per month to £100,000 per month
  • Circa 100 accounts with 30 active spending accounts
  • Working closely with and reporting into the Sales Director
The ideal applicant will be Area Sales Manager - Kitchen Doors & Accessories with:
  • Experience selling into retail showrooms, kitchen or KBB showrooms preferred
  • Ideally field sales experience, but may be open to someone working in a high end kitchen or KBB retail showroom/ high end studio looking for their first foray into field sales
  • Hungry driven sales personality, looking to better themselves
  • Longevity in previous jobs, or excellent reasons for quick career moves
  • Ideally from a kitchens product background (however open on product background)
  • Ideally sold high end products rather than on price
  • Comfortable with working in a competitive environment
  • Confident people person with a genuine desire to succeed
  • Organised, dynamic and self motivated
