Were seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager or Account Manager, with a proven track record of sales to CEMs, OEMs or Distributors and who can cover our South West region. BASIC SALARY: £35,000-£40,000BENEFITS:· £5,000 - £10,000 OTE but UNCAPPED · Car · Pension · 20 Days Holiday, rising to 25 with service · Health CoverLOCATION: This is a home based role covering the South West M5 corridor from Birmingham to Cornwall and Wales to Southampton so you could be based anywhere on patch including: Birmingham, Worcester, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Swansea, Cardiff, Newport, Bristol, Taunton, Bath, Chippenham, Swindon, Yeovil, Salisbury, Weymouth, Pool, Bournemouth, Southampton.Its all about connection. Youre the expert at connecting with people and closing deals and were the experts at providing class leading electrical connection products (as well as a whole range of other electrical components). Together well make a brilliant team!Youll be joining our growing UK team of Area Sales Managers, taking over an already successful large territory that is being divided up further, to enable us to expand even more. Itll be turning over around £250k a year and youre first goal will be to get the spend up to £500k, as quickly as possible. Whether you open lots of new business or grow your exiting account base is up to you. Either way, youll be selling a huge range of products including:· Cable glands & Grommets · Electrical Controls & Enclosures for HVAC · Terminal Blocks, Connectors and Fuse Holders · Switches / Relays & SocketsSales tend to be low value/high volume and come from independents & specialist SMEs who spend a few hundred pounds to large multi-national organisations, spending thousands. Youll need to be a dab hand across the whole sales mix, from hunting out brand new clients, spending with you for the first time, to cross-selling and up selling in your established exiting customers.Your marketplace opportunities will be extremely varied too and youll be selling to:· CEMs (Contract Electronic Manufacturers) · OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) such as Lighting, White or Brown Goods, Consumer or Commercial Electrical / Electronic manufacturers · PCB Manufacturers & Cable / Harness Manufacturers · National DistributorsTo join the team youll already be a successful Field Sales Executive, Areas Sales Manager, Business Development Manager or Account Manager and have sold, or be selling into, the markets already mentioned.In addition, youll be highly organised and self-motived, able to work on your own initiative to drive sales growth.
