Job Description

Applications Engineer (Battery Systems)Up to £60k + Bonus (up to 10%) + Training + Progression + Holiday + Pension + Benefits You can be living anywhere in the UK Fully Remote RoleExcellent opportunity to join a constantly evolving and progressing global powerhouse, in a role that will offer you further training to become a technical specialist, working with a range of clients on exciting projects.You will have the opportunity to progress into new roles as the company continues to expand and further your engineering knowledge.This worldwide market leading business are specialists within power electronics, and due to continual demand for their innovative products, they are looking for an additional Applications Engineer to join their ever growing operation.The ideal candidate for this role will be from an Electrical / Mechatronics background with knowledge and experience within the Battery Systems / Energy Storage industries.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company in a booming industry, who will enable you to become an expert within the field and technically develop your career to fulfil your potential as an engineer.The Role:

  • Providing technical support to sales and product marketing
  • Understanding customers requirements and whether they are feasible
  • Preparation of proposals and advising on solutions
  • Liaison between customer and the R&D team
  • Performance related bonus
  • Fully remote role, with very occasional on-site support at customer sites
The Person:
  • Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics degree or similar
  • Knowledge of Energy Storage / Battery Systems / PV market
  • Technical knowhow / industry experience within the above
  • Fluent in English and able to communicate with different teams
