Application Engineer - D365 - 100% home based role (UK based candidatesonly)Up to £60,000Due to continued success and internal promotions, I am delighted to offer agreat opportunity for a skilled Application Engineer to join myNational non-for-profit client, with the role being offered on a fully remote basis.Are you passionate about Applications, Technology and Tech Transformation If yes, then this role could be exactly what you want.This fantastic opportunity will offer the right individual the chance to support, manage and maintain a wide range of applications used within my clients organisation, with a focus on the Microsoft platform which will enable the organisation to deliver myclients Digital Strategy and Transformation Programme.You will be working within the Technology team as an Applications Engineer and will be primarily responsible for expert technical support on the Dynamics 365 platform supporting Finance & HR, Payroll and Performance modules as well as functional developmentwithin the system.You would also support their core business applications which would include PowerBI, Azure and SharePoint. This role will be vital for my client in supporting, developing, managing and maintaining these applications as well as ensuring business as usualactivities are not adversely impacted, so that staff around the organisation are able to carry out their work effectively.Key Responsibilities include:

  1. 1st and 2nd Line Support:
    • Assist in maintaining operational functionality for day-to-day business operations.
    • Oversee administration, maintenance, customisation, and configuration of the Dynamics 365 platform.
    • Explain technical issues in non-technical language to end users and stakeholders.
  2. Dynamics 365 Analysis and Solutions:
    • Analyse Finance, HR, and Payroll data within Microsoft Dynamics 365.
    • Recommend solutions to process problems.
    • Fully document and educate users to resolve issues at the administrative level.
  3. Testing and Exploration:
    • Assist with testing related to version updates.
    • Explore new features within Dynamics 365.
  4. Process Improvement and Security:
    • Analyse current business processes and provide guidance on best practices.
    • Make and report necessary Roles and Security changes.
    • Investigate and monitor issues requiring escalation to external 2nd/3rd line support.
