An experienced App Developer with at least 3 years of experience is needed to join our team at Sysmax on a remote (work from home) basis. Sysmax Compliance and Competency Management Platform and Apps protects stakeholders from risk, optimises the performanceof people and processes to improve our clients bottom line. We are disrupting previous ways of operating. Sysmax digitises our clients procedures across the enterprise and places the knowledge in the hands of the workforce 24/7. Enabling dynamic deployment, workforce development and compliance reporting of the subjectsthat matter from the globe to the individual.Our experience in project, risk, and engineering management has enabled us to develop a comprehensive suite of products that helps businesses to ensure compliance with best practice, manage competency and improve performance.We are trusted by some of the worlds largest companies; our clients include PepsiCo, BP, Places for People and Repsol.As an app developer in Sysmax, you will create and implement the source code necessary to develop mobile applications on Android and / or IoS mobile platforms for several key client sectors. We do that with a clarity that drives continuous improvementacross the clients business.About the RoleAs a mobile applications developer, you can put your passion for programming and development to create effective and cutting-edge mobile apps that will grow our customer base. Youll collaborate with internal and client teams to develop functional mobile applications, while working in a fast-paced environment. You will design and build the next generation of our mobile applications. We have three SaaS systems and one of them has an app which is proving highly successful but needs improvement and maintenance. Key Responsibilities:

• Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release, and support)
• Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code
• Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions
• Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions
• Troubleshoot and debug to optimise performance
• Ensure new, and legacy applications meet quality standards
• Research and suggest new mobile products, applications, and protocols
• Stay up to date with new technology trends
• Identify opportunities to develop new mobile products and protocols
• Develop APIs to support the functionality of mobile devices
• Engage with users to better understand customer needs and opportunities for improvements
• Adapt current web applications for mobile platforms
• Ensuring that all SLAs (Service Level Agreements) are met
• Maintaining and supporting systems and improving the performance of existing software
• Providing consulting and guidance to our customer base if required

Required Skills:

• Proven work experience as a Mobile developer
• Demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the App store and the Android market
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Familiarity with OOP design principles
• Excellent analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude
• Ability to perform in a team environment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to distil complex technical plans into easily understandable concepts for executive reports

Required Experience:

• Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience with system design, programming, and data structuring
• A good understanding of Kotlin, SQL Lite and Core Data databases
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in a team environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to distil complex technical plans into easily understandable concepts for executive reports
• Assisting with software releases
