Job Description

Job Title: Anodiser / Jigger Operative (Metals)Permanent Day ShiftSalary: (Depending on level of experience)Location:Garretts GreenSector / Industry: Metals/ManufacturingJob Reference:MK26SEPBAre you working within or previously worked within a Anodising Jigger Operative within a Metals / Extrusion businessWould you describe yourself as someone who is a team player and can operate well within in fast pace environmentLooking to join a business who is rapidly growing and can offer stabilityPackage Details:

  • Working hours MondayThursday 08:30am05:30pFriday 12pm finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tanks within set parameters, adjust chemistry to maintain process specification
  • Bath chemistry control, via titration trending analysis and dosing adjustments
  • Ensure testing is carried out to required standards and record all test data.
  • Assure equipment is calibrated as specified in the quality system.
  • Support tank maintenance.
  • Update jigging and packing specs
  • Waste management including effluent plant.
  • To liaise and work with other production departments to meet the demands of production and solve issues that arise.
  • Carry out trials and product verification testing.
  • Ensuring quality demands are met by process control and skilled staff.
  • Assure on time delivery following plans and setting priorities.
  • Produce quality control and process improvement documentation and introduce to workforce.
  • Promoting health, safety and environment procedures proactively.
  • Further develop housekeeping and 5S in the area.
  • Assisting and organizing training where identified.
Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 12 months experience in anodizing or Jigger operative role.
  • Keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment.
  • Good attitude and drive to develop and grow with a growing business.
  • Excellent communication skills.
