Job Description

The company pride themselves on their relationship building, understanding individual’s values and lifelong goals to provide a market leadingservice.As an administrative assistant, you will play a pivotal role in the business support function, responsible for providing administrative support to our team of professionals, including managing schedules, organising files, and handling correspondence.The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently. They should have strong communication skills and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Location: BirminghamHours: Monday to Friday, full time – PermanentSalary: £22,000 - £23,500The role:

  • First to answer all incoming calls, redirect or take messages
  • Answering of front door and greeting visitors – offering and making drinks
  • Open all incoming post, stamping and sending of all outgoing post
  • Stationery and toner checking and ordering
  • Chasing, updating and completing diary entries
  • Calling clients to chase paperwork, transfers etc, until completed
  • Scanning and filing of client files
  • Sending of letters of authority and chasing and completing policy information sheets
  • Making reservations & travel arrangements for the director and adding them to his diary
  • Assisting the Client Relationship Managers with any tasks required
The ideal candidate:
  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • Must have confident telephone manner.
  • Must have good working knowledge of Microsoft packages
  • Takes pride in work and appearance
  • Experience in an office-based environment
