Job Description

Our client HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS) is an agency of the Ministry of Justice. HMCTS provides administrative support for the legal system across England and Wales, ensuring justice works for everyone.Our justice system defends our fundamental rights and freedoms. It is a cornerstone of our modern society and it must serve all those who call on it, when they call on it. From some of the most vulnerable people in our society, to families in crisis, claimantsand commercial businesses - HMCTS has a responsibility to administer a justice system that is accessible to everyone and operates efficiently.Our public sector client is looking for a temporary employee to join their team as an admin officer. This is initially a temporary role until 31/05/23. Due to business needs, the client may not be able to extend these contracts after the end date. If that isthe case, we would prioritise finding another role for you once this assignment has ended. This is a full-time role, Monday - Friday, 37 hours per week. Usual working hours will be 9-5. The pay rate for this role is £11.88 - paid on a weekly basis.The office location is Bull Street - B4 6DS. This role is fully onsite. Your day-to-day duties will include the following but wont be limited to: - Preparing papers and files for court, tribunals, hearings, and meetings. - Creating and updating records on in-house computer system and data input.- Post opening and dispatch.- Standard letters and correspondence, minutes, notes, reports, submissions etc, according to guidelines and instructions. - Ensuring compliance and administration documentation meet quality standards.- Ad hoc admin - photocopying, scanning, filing etc- Communications with internal and external stakeholdersThe successful candidate for the role will have 12-18 months of admin experience within a workplace.
