Job Description

Acoustics Team Lead - RemotePenguin Recruitment is proud to be representing a reputable multi-disciplinary consultancy who specialise in environmental planning services to a range of private and public sector clients across the UK. My client is a proud to be a Chartered EnvironmentalistEmployer Champion and has an exciting opportunity for an Acoustics Team Lead to lead the Acoustics team in a remote position. The main aim of this role will be to lead the provision of noise impact assessment & acoustic services across a range of projectsin sectors including waste, residential, industrial, leisure, energy and many others.Requirements:

  • Established within the Acoustics field, having recently worked in a Principal or Associate level position.
  • Experience in both environmental noise and building acoustics.
  • Previous experience in managing a team of Acousticians.
  • IOA Membership.
  • Able to undertake both office and site-based duties.
  • Happy commuting to projects across the UK as in when is required.
You will be responsible for the technical development of the Acoustics team and will be assisting the Director in developing the Noise area of the business!Other duties will include:
  • Active involvement in the provision of Noise Impact Assessments.
  • Site visits when required.
  • Noise monitoring and modelling.
  • Training of junior consultants.
  • Client facing work.
  • Input into design solutions.
