Job Description

Acoustic Consultant - Birmingham Penguin Recruitment is proud to be working with a leading consultancy firm, working in all areas of building services, including sustainability, BIM and Acoustics. This is a growing company giving the successful candidate an opportunity to work on excitingnew projects across UK and Europe. With over 8 offices across UK and a growing team, my company is keen to take an Acoustic Consultant on board!Requirement:

  • A relevant Acoustics or Building Services specific degree, ideally masters level
  • Member of IOA.
  • Experience within a Consultant role.
  • Numerically proficient.
  • Confident individual, able to work individually.
  • Communication skills, able to build and maintain working relationships with colleagues, clients, and eternal bodies.
  • Revit and AutoCAD experience would be an advantage.
Responsibilities as Acoustic Consultant:
  • Reporting to office director.
  • Working along with other engineers.
  • Building acoustic models using CATT, Cadna, Odeon, SoundPlan, IMMI etc.
  • Monitor Noise and Vibration.
