Job Description

Acoustic Consultant - BirminghamThis is a fantastic opportunity for an Acoustic Consultant to join a growing company with a fun and friendly working environment! Our client is a reputable consultancy who offer a range of services in Air Quality, Noise and Vibration sectors. The company is run by consultants with over 20 years of experience in the Environmental sector and the successful candidate will be trained by experts in the industry!Requirements:

  • Educated to MSc/BSc level in Acoustical Engineering or another relevant discipline such as the IOA Diploma.
  • 2-3 years experience working as an Acoustic Consultant in the UK
  • Full UK driving license
  • IOA Membership is advantageous
    • Daily duties may include:
  • Site visits
  • Noise & vibration surveys
  • Noise modelling using the CadnaA propagation model
  • Report writing
  • Potential to train new staff once youve developed your skills
  • Developing new & existing client relations
  • Setting up & calibrating relevant equipment
  • Working tightly & efficiently to tight deadlines
  • Project management
