Accounts Receivable Clerk required for an exciting permanent opportunity, working for a growing business based in Birmingham. My client has an entrepreneurial approach to their business and is looking to add an experienced AR Clerk who can join them andbe a positive addition to their established accounting team. Supporting the Finance Manager, your duties will include: - Allocate payments to the sales ledger - Processing of cheque receipts, tracking returned cheques - Investigating discrepancies between Banked payments and Sales - Reconcile Customer accounts between Shopfloor system to Accounting software - Weekly IOU report - Chase up outstanding debts - Sending out customer statements - Other ad-hoc duties Requirements: - Experience in an sales ledger/credit control position - Strong knowledge of banking, ledger and processing cash receipts - Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages - Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, you will have experience in maintaining good relationships with both internal stakeholders and with our external customers. - A proactive "can-do" approach - Attention to detail. - A desire to improve and refine processes - Aspiration to progress in your career My client is based on the outskirts of Birmingham city centre with an open and friendly working environment. You will be working on site Monday to Friday, there is parking available and they are accessible by public transport.
