Job Description

Account Executive Birmingham Permanent position – Office based Role £25K - £30K DOE plus monthly commission / bonus (payable by GP)Monday – Friday 9am-530pmBenefits – Private Healthcare, Life insurance, Pension, Free Parking onsite, clear progression/ succession planAbout The Company:An ever-growing Mail and Post Company based in Birmingham is looking for an Account Executive to join their Team. Due to significant investment in plant & technology, this is the ideal time to join the team. The ideal candidate will either have Account Executivewith 1+ years’ experience within the mail & post industry or Sales Coordinator or Telemarketers within a similar field. This role requires 1 years + experience in mail fulfilment and postal services or a similar sector. There is great scope for fast-trackcareer progression to an Account Manager and then ultimately Account Director for the highly driven candidate. If you are Sales and career driven this is the ideal role, and members of the team can explain how they have quickly grown through succession fromExecutive to Director within a few years.About The Account Executive position:

  • Support your team with all the administration & campaign co-ordination associated with Client Account Management, including, but not limited to quoting clients, booking jobs in on our Tharstern MIS system, dealing with lots of daily queries, keeping Salesforce& Tharstern accurate and any other ad-hoc duties required by your team.
  • You are a point of contact for your Teams Clients and are expected to be pro-active in your approach to keeping clients updated, as jobs go through the factory and are despatched.
  • Liaising with your Account Director, Account Manager, the Data Team & the Operations Team to ensure each mailing goes out on time and with total accuracy.
  • Raising invoices with 48 hours of mailing despatch.
  • Using your own initiative to enhance our clients experience working with you / us.
  • To seek out ways to maximise postage gross profit margin by exploring multiple ways to reduce buying-in costs.
  • Creating samples packs for potential clients
  • Maintaining and developing your own knowledge within the mail & post industry to support your own progression
  • Proactive approach to work processes & procedures, identifying areas of improvement when necessary to enhance Client experience & the businesses performance overall.
Skills and experience required for the Account Executive position:
  • Proven experience in mail fulfilment and postal services – print experience beneficial but not essential.
  • If no mailing or print experience my client would look at signage experience or strong Telemarketers who are sales savvy and career hungry to learn, grow and progress
  • Knowledge of UK & International postal services is desirable
  • Experience of Salesforce & Tharstern MIS is desirable but training will be given
  • Microsoft Office Package: Excel, Outlook, Teams & Word is desirable
