Acceptance Test Analyst (UAT & OAT)You will play an integral role developing and embedding best practice in Acceptance Testing across multiple workstreams, in a technically complex, customer-facing environment responsible for Operational Acceptance Testing and User Acceptance Testing of anynew of changes products and services, responsible for the overall strategy of Acceptance testing including policy, process and procedures.Client DetailsAcceptance Test Analyst (UAT & OAT)My client is a Market leading telecommunications company which provides infrastructure, broadcast transmission and smart meter facilities in the UK.DescriptionAcceptance Test Analyst (UAT & OAT)Key duties and responsibilities:

• Working closely with the Portfolio Delivery teams to ensure that any new or changes to Product & Services undergo mandatory Acceptance Testing (UAT / OAT) activities before being transitioned into Operations.
• Planning and co-ordinating the tests, including selecting the test approaches, estimates the time, effort and cost of testing, acquiring resources and defining test levels and cycles.
• Planning and co-ordinating test phases including test planning, test design, test execution and test completion.
• Building relationships with Operational stakeholders and gaining an extensive knowledge of the business in which they work.
• Helping reduce any overhead by creating repeatable OAT and UAT test scenarios, test cases that can be reused or automated.
• Assessing and mitigating any test risks.
• Introduction of test metrics and KPIs used for measuring test progress and outcome (for continual improvement)
• Working closely with Transition team, making sure that UAT and OAT is embedded in the overall service Acceptance criteria.
• Working with Change Management team to help improve the quality and stability of services being introduced into the production environment.
• Works closely with Business Analysts and Service Design team, identifying area of the service that will require Acceptance testing.
• Identifying and removing any inefficiencies in the Acceptance testing process. Continues to improve the quality of UAT and OAT strategy, processes, procedures.
• Providing test evidence/test reports to Arqiva customers on the outcome of UAT and OAT test phases, where contractually required

ProfileAcceptance Test Analyst (UAT & OAT)Must Haves:

• ISTQB or similar industry standard.
• Project Management / PRINCE2 / APM
• Jama and /or Jira experience
• Significant experience of developing and embedding best practice in Acceptance Testing across multiple workstreams, in a technically complex, customer-facing environment.
• Experience working in both agile and waterfall delivery methodologies
• Excellent project management skills, liaising between project, customer and operational teams to align and validate service changes against agreed requirements
• Evidence of an organised approach to planning, documenting and reporting on delivery against requirements
• ITIL Lifecycle certificate in Service Transition
• Experience in telecommunications, broadcasting and networking industries would be preferred.
