Job Description

Job Title: Academic Support WorkerLocation: BirminghamSalary: £20,908 - £21,411 per annum (pro rata of £23,715 - £24,285) - SS2.Job type: Permanent, Full-time. 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year (0.77 FTE)UCB has a unique collaborative partnership with the University of Warwick - Ranked sixth in the 2022 Guardian League Tables and named the runner-up in the Times University of the Year 2022 and the Times University of the Year 2022 for Teaching Quality. The Role:An exciting opportunity has arisen to join UCBs highly regarded Disability Support team as an Academic Support Worker. You will be joining a growing team at an exciting time in UCBs development, and will be supporting students in a range of first classteaching environments.As an Academic Support Worker, you will be providing high-quality in-class support for FE students with an SpLD or disability. In addition, you will provide 1:1 appointments in one of UCBs Academic Skills Centres.Candidate Requirements:You will have experience of supporting learners with an SpLD or disability, strong inter-personal and communication skills and a flexible approach to work. Further, you will have excellent record-keeping skills and be able to report on student progress.Benefits:
