Job Description

Trailer FitterLocation: Birkenhead, MerseysideSalary: £34,580 per year + Excellent BenefitsOvertime available after 47.5 hours at time and a halfThe Client: Our client is the foremost provider of vehicle maintenance, catering to diverse client needs. They are dedicated to delivering assured, compliant, and flexible solutions to their clients.The Role:This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Trailer Fitter to join a successful team at a fast-paced trailer refurbishment and repairs centre. As a trailer/HGV fitter you will be required to work predominantly on trailers but HGVs and LCVS also.As a Trailer Fitter you will be required to :

  • Carry out general servicing & inspections
  • Ensure repairs are carried out according to depot procedures
  • Complete job sheets as required
  • Complete preventative maintenance
  • MOT preparation
  • Adhere to all company Health and Safety standards
Skills Experience and Qualifications:
  • Time served HGV or HGV Trailer Technician, Mechanic or Fitter.
  • NVQ / City - Guilds 1,2 - 3 Certificates or equivalent qualifications
  • Technical background /experience in HGV Trailer repairs
  • HGV 1 licence is preferable but not essential
Hours:
  • 8:00 - 18:00 (Mon- Fri and every other Saturday)
