Job Description

Are you passionate about education Do you have a knack for inspiring young minds If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you in an OUTSTANDING SEN school in Birkenhead!As a Teaching Assistant with a passion for SEN, you will have the chance to make a lasting impact on your students lives whilst supporting them in a nurturing learning environment.For this Teaching Assistant role you will have:

  • A strong passion for SEN and dedication to students with SEN.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with students.
  • A dedication to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Relevant educational qualifications or experience (preferred but not mandatory).
As a Teaching Assistant you will:
  • Support students with SEN needs in the classroom and during activities.
  • Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere within the school.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students as needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers and specialists to deliver tailored learning experiences.
  • Monitor and report on student progress and behavior.
  • Promote a safe and respectful learning environment.
