Job Description

Milk Education are seeking to appoint several Bank Teaching assistant’s to work in some of our fantastic Primary Schools in the Wirral area on a day to day, Ad-hoc basis. The roles will be working in a range of year groups from Early Years up to Key Stage2.The roles can be supporting on a whole class basis or on a 1:1 with children with SEND or Barriers to Learning.The successful candidate will be expected to undertake all activities as required during their time at the school and be able to work as partof a team as well as being able to use initiative.When working on an ad-hoc basis you update us on what your availability is each week and we find you roles for the days that youre available.Bank staff Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

  • To work under the direction of the class teacher, offering general support or supporting children on a 1:1 basis.
  • Must have an enthusiastic approach, and become a positive role-model for the children
  • Be extremely pro-active with the ability to use your initiative.
  • Provide a safe environment for the pupils, enabling growth in social and learning development.
What you need to apply:
  • The passion to enable children’s development and to assist them to fulfill their potential.
  • Experience working with children or young adults.
  • DBS on the update service or willing to comply.
