Location : Various, UKSalary : £34,854 (Croydon £38,409)About the jobJob summaryYou will work as part of a team to provide assurance to the Information Asset Owner/risk owner on suitability and effectiveness of personnel security policies and practices across our clients estate. You will be responsible for delivering effective, consistentpersonnel security assurance.Job descriptionYou will work across all levels of the organisation, including the Directors to provide risk-based advice on the effectiveness of personnel security controls. Stakeholder engagement with key teams, such Finance and Business Services Directorate (FaBs) andKnowledge & Information Management, will be a vital element of this role. You will also act as the first point of contact to the Security & Resilience Team (SRT), responsible for reviewing all receipts to the team mailbox, triaging requests to determine riskand impact and assign to the appropriate subject matter expert for response.For more information please see the attached candidate pack.Person specificationYou will require excellent communication and relationship management skills to deliver timely, risk and evidence-based personnel security assurance.Your previous experience and knowledge of Personnel Security will be demonstrable and you will be able to provide evidence of self-development in Security and Assurance processes/activities and you have a good working knowledge/understanding of risk management.Where an individual taking up the responsibility will be based in Swansea Office, the ability to speak Welsh is desirable.BehavioursTheyll assess you against these behaviours during the selection process:
