Job Description

Our client is a well-established manufacturer of medical devices products based in the Wirral / Birkenhead area and currently seeking to recruit an experience QC Technician.This QC role will suit an individual who has previous experience within a QC laboratory, testing raw materials prior to going into production, as well as regular in-line sampling of products.Qualification and experience

  • BSc in Chemistry or related discipline
  • Previous experience within a QC laboratory
  • Competent in using calibration, verification and monitoring of measuring devices within a laboratory setting.
  • Familiar with producing certificates of analysis, as well as certificates of conformance
Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing quality control documentation such as BMR
  • Reporting any quality control issues to the Production and Quality Assurance Manager
  • Ensure segregation of non-conforming items, and where appropriate, recommend and ensure corrective action is taken.
  • Ensure all documentation is complete accurately and to deadlines.
