Acorn Recruitment are searching for a Production Line Leader to join our client, a manufacturing business in Birkenhead, Wirral Merseyside.Reporting to the Production Manager, the purpose of the role will be to take responsibility for the shift, managing staff, equipment and resources in an optimum way to maximise output whilst keeping waste to a minimum.The duties of the role:- Ensuring the production plan is completed with the utmost efficiency and targets are achieved.- Ensuring the product is produced to customer specification and quality.- Ensuring that the company quality, hygiene and health and safety standards are met at all times.- Leading and developing the team to ensure maximum production effectiveness and efficiency.- Monitoring and reporting online performances.- Liaising with other departments including planning, engineering, technical and supply chain departments to ensure smooth running of the factory.- Playing an active part in continuous improvement activities.The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role along with knowledge and understanding of both the food industry and supply chain sector. Applicants must be customer driven, organised and an excellent communicator in order to get the best out of your team whilst leading by example.40 hrs per week, shift pattern to be confirmed.Salary is negotiable depending on the level of skills and experience you have to offer.
