Job Description

Our client has a fantastic new opportunity for a Payroll Advisor to join their fun, global company within the manufacturing industry, based in Birkenhead.This role is a 6 month FTC.Client DetailsOur client is a global manufacturing and production business. As one of the worlds leading companies in this sector, they have developed a strong reputation, an extensive customer base, and a track record of excellence.DescriptionThe key responsibilities of the Payroll Advisor will be:

  • Ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees.
  • Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy of payroll calculations and ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding payroll-related queries, including paycheck discrepancies, tax-related issues, and benefit enquiries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as HR and Finance, to ensure smooth integration and efficient payroll processes.
  • Provide support to the Payroll Administrator through regular communication and completing any adhoc tasks.
  • Ensure all deadlines are met in a timely manner.
ProfileThe successful candidate will:
  • Excellent written verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong EXCEL knowledge.
  • Ability to work well individually as well as with a team.
  • Experience managing a team is preferred.
