Job Description

We are looking for a Team Leader to join our Corporate Lettings Team in Birkenhead.This role is to lead our team of property coordinators to ensure all vacant properties are let within agreed service levels.Key Responsibilities of a lettings Team Leader.

  • To identify and instruct the appropriate branch to market new instruction from the Property Management team.
  • To monitor the marketing of the property and check that the branch has completed all appropriate marketing including; internet advertising, adding the property to the branch mailing list, erecting a To Let board, placing the property in the branch windowdisplay and newspaper advertising if required.
  • Undertake duties in line with signed Service Level Agreements, with particular focus on the letting of vacant properties.
  • To handle the negotiation of any offer received between the client and the prospective tenant.
  • Carry out all essential documentation required, from obtaining suitable identification, drawing up tenancy agreements and any other legal documentation.
Skills and experience required for a Lettings Team Leader
  • Background in residential lettings, property management or estate agency preferable.
  • Experience in a customer focused environment.
  • Excellent PC and related technology skills.
  • Resilient,positive, organised and ability to work at pace.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to work to targets and achieve results.
