Job Description

Role: Infrastructure ManagerLocation: Wirral - Hybrid/Remote (any location)Salary: Up to £80,000 DOEOur client is a market leader in providing property and security services within a range of industries, with a varied client base.Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), the role would require the Infrastructure Manager to maintain, manage and develop the companys systems and infrastructure, as well as supporting offices nationwide and on occasion carrying out some fieldbased tasks.Responsibilities of the role:

  • Overseeing and managing timeframes for IT projects, including outages, system updates, migrations and upgrades.
  • Be responsible for all network access, data security management and corruption issues.
  • Monitoring and maintaining infrastructure performance and sharing operation system reports with senior members.
  • Manage crisis situations, which may involve technical hardware and software issues.
  • Lead, implement, install and testing of new hardware and systems.
  • Implement risk assessments and system audits.
  • Maintain the backup and recovery procedures, ensuring they are effective.
  • Monitor teams performance and metrics, including managing and planning.
  • Reporting of IT budgets and assisting with the budget planning process.
Your experience:
  • Strong background in Core Infrastructure experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with networking
  • Broad knowledge of up to date technology, software, systems
  • Ability to provide technical support and guidance to others
  • Experience of following management systems/certs: ISO27001/ISO22301/Cyber Essentials Plus/ITIL
Desirables (not essential):
  • Experience working within telecoms / telephony / VOIP Systems
  • Experience working within Security, Access Control, AI, Robotics
  • MSP Candidates would also be great
