Job Description

Forge Talent are excited to be recruiting for a Global Manufacturing business near Liverpool who are looking for a Finance Business Partner.Main responsibilities:

  • Providing analysis and delivering insight that links financial reports to the project and business strategies.
  • Improving the impact, and understanding, of financial reporting on business performance.
  • Production of daily, weekly and monthly reporting to the agreed timescales.
  • Providing effective financial procedures, or initiating change, to ensure key operational and financial targets are delivered.
  • Building partnerships and strong relationships with all senior managers and their teams and providing financial support to commercial decision making.
  • Delivering analysis and insight on business opportunities; providing options and scenarios for business decisions.
  • Presenting financial performance, full year forecasts and budget variances including understanding financial opportunities and risk.
  • Challenging current ways of working, driving efficiencies and cost savings wherever possible
  • Assisting with year-end audit of the project.
  • Understanding the cost drivers of the business and providing insight to the non-finance members.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or Qualified by experience.
  • 3+ years in a similar role.
  • Ability to adapt and respond to changing priorities.
  • Ambitious and self-motivated individual.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary:
  • £50,000-£55,000
  • 25 days annual days holiday
  • Pension
This role requires someone to be in the office 5 days a week.
