Job Description

Our precision engineering client is looking for a CNC Miller Setter / Programmer to join their professional team in Birkenhead.CNC Miller Setter/Programmer (Day Shift)Birkenhead, Merseyside, CH41

  • Full Time (38 hours), Permanent Position
  • Competitive Hourly Rate Paid
  • Overtime Available at Time and Half
Please Note: Applicants must be authorised to work in the UKOur client specialises in providing precision engineered components and clean-room assembly to clients throughout the UK and Ireland.They are fully accredited to ISO 9001:2015, offering a range of precision machining services including ultra-high vacuum welding and leak checking.The RoleThey are looking for a CNC Miller Setter / Programmer with the following skills and experience:
  • Online and Offline Programming Experience
  • Experience with Heidenhain systems would be preferable but not essential.
  • Minimum 3 years post apprenticeship experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and be confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Main Duties of the role:
  • To set, programme and operate machinery to the required standards of company production and safety
  • Make minor repairs to equipment in order to maximise output, reduce down-time and satisfy company demands, quality and safety standards.
