Job Description

Assessment OfficerLocation: BirkenheadSalary: £28,199 per annumHours of Work: 37 hours per weekAbout the Company:A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Assessment Officer to join our busy Specialist Housing Services Team.The overall purpose of the role is to assess the ability of prospective and current tenants to sustain their tenancies. The post holder will also be expected to liaise directly with external agencies to obtain all relevant information.Assessment Officer Requirements:

  • Positive and enthusiastic personality with a strong focus on excellent customer service
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Positively contribute to the role and team you work in
  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise work (Essential)
  • Able to work with colleagues of all levels, both internal and external
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ideally you will be fully proficient in all Microsoft Office 365
  • Knowledge of the housing needs of older/vulnerable people
  • 2 years’ experience in a customer facing role
  • Knowledge of the statutory and voluntary services available to support the client group (Desirable)
  • Hold a Full UK Driving License and have access to a car for work (Essential)
