We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Warehouse Worker/Inspection Assistant based in Coventry. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis working 39 hours per week, and in return, you will receive a competitive rate of £9 - £10 per hour depending on experience.About us:Wickman Coventry Ltd is an OEM Machine tool design and manufacturing company now in its 96th year. We produce a specialised range of Multi-Spindle CNC and Automatic Lathes from our factory based in Coventry that are distributed to customersglobally.Responsibilities as our Warehouse Worker/Inspection Assistant will include:- Receiving deliveries from couriers- Receiving and tracking shipments- Documenting exact shipment arrival and procedures- Tagging and labelling parts and accessories- Labelling and stockpiling parts and accessories according to size, shape, and type.- Boxing, wrapping and packing the parts and accessories in accordance with relevant procedures and standards- Preparing all orders for shipment- Recording and managing all impaired or damaged/returned items- Operation of tools to do your job in a safe and secured way (for example, forklift)- Entering data in inventory and logistics software programs- Rolling Stocktake- Inspection of parts received with guidance from the Inspector- Marking of parts with company logo- Transferring of parts to the stores that have passed inspection and stored correctlyWhat were looking for in our Warehouse Worker/Inspection Assistant:- Valid Drivers License- Forklift Operation Certification will be considered an advantage- Previous working experience as a Warehouse Worker- Hands-on experience with inventory and logistics software programs- Great physical stamina and manual dexterity- Team player- Good organizational and time-management skills- Great interpersonal and communication skills- Problem solverIn return as our Warehouse Worker/Inspection Assistant you will receive the following benefits: - 32 days holiday (including statutory days)- Contributory pension schemeIf youre looking for a new challenge, please click apply now to be considered as our Warehouse Worker/Inspection Assistant, we look forward to hearing from you!
