Job Description

Mobile Fitter - role covering Coventry, Rugby, Lutterworth& surrounding areas. An opportunity has arisenfor a mobile fitterto carry out preventative maintenance to construction plantequipment out on-site and in the field covering breakdowns on diggers, dumpers, excavators, powered access, forklifts, telehandlers, rollers, tools and powered access machinery. Offering additional training, a van and the chance for overtime, you may support in the workshop on occasions too.Benefits for the Mobile Fitter:

  • Monday to Friday only
  • Potential to earn £30k DOE
  • Hourly pay or salaried with the chance for overtime or time in lieu.

    • Responsibilities of the Mobile Fitter
  • Carrying out preventative maintenance to construction plantequipment (up to 10 ton), tools & powered access machinery
  • Routine servicing and repair of equipment including mechanical and electrical systems both in the workshop and out on site
  • Supporting customers with solutions in a timely and effective manner
  • Attending breakdowns on customer sites, providing outstanding customer service at all times.
    • An NVQ or City and Guilds qualification would be desirable, however time-served experience as a mobile fitter will also be considered for the right candidate. You may have worked as a fitter or workshop fitter/workshop engineer or mobile fitter in construction plant.Company:This is a great opportunity to join a reputable hire company who supply a wide range of plant machinery and tools to the construction/plant hire industry and related sectors.This may lead to promotion into a supervisory / foreperson role.
