Job Description

Warehouse OperativesFlexi shift pattern x 13 x 3 night shift - 22.00 - 07.15 (A shift pattern) x 1Closing date - 22nd March @ 8amAs part of the Intersnack Group this is an exciting time for KP’s largest site in the UK as we introduce new ways of working through our Intersnack Work Systems (IWS) and experience significant investment across the site including the construction of our new Pellet Production Plant and the introduction of new technology. Focused on our people we are committed to building capability as well as creating exciting job and development opportunities.As we roll out the Intersnack Work System (IWS) across our site, all the work we do is aligned to these new ways of working; building our organisational capability to achieve and sustain breakthrough business results, through 100% employee involvement, with a zero loss mindset.In the role of Inbound Warehouse Operative you will have responsibility for the below:

  • Offloading deliveries into storage
  • Ensuring accuracy of Autostore using our Warehouse Management System
  • Maintaining supply of materials to manufacturing
  • Completing paperwork and ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Aligned to our IWS principles and to embed the IWS ways of working you will be asked to:
  • Adhere to safety and quality standards and take personal responsibility for health and safety to achieve zero losses and safety incidents.
  • Be flexible in your approach with an improvement and zero loss mindset
  • Maintain high standards of Hygiene and Housekeeping following our clean as you go policy.
  • Ensure key information is effectively communicated to the next shift through the Shift Daily Direction Setting (SDDS) process (or other communication method as required).

The starting shift pattern for these positions is Double Days, although we reserve the right to change the shift patterns that we operate from time to time giving reasonable notice.Job requirementsAs well as demonstrating KP’s core values and behaviours you will:

  • Have basic PC skills and Food Safety & Health and Safety Levels 2.
  • A current Fork Lift Truck licence is essential.
