CDS Recruitment Limited are working with our client who are looking for an experienced Warehouse & Materials Co-ordinator to organise the receipt, storage and issuing of all goods and materials for their busy Teesside site. You would be working via CDS Recruitment initially on a temporary basis, with a view to progressing into a Permanent role, direct with our client after successful completion of probationary period. Duties & Responsibilities Receipt and issue of goods and materials on a FIFO basis. Ordering & control of goods for all departments, both consignment and non-stock items. Checking of certification against batch numbers. Inspection of contract bought out goods and materials. The loading and unloading of delivery vehicles in a safe and secure manner. Customer relations and liaison with all site personnel, sales representatives and suppliers Control of all site gases - argon, oxygen, propane, acetylene, along with the ordering of fuels. Control of requisitions raised for all departments, using the purchase system Sage (FUSION) for conversion to purchase order. First stage dimensional checks, by reading engineering drawings. Stock usage reporting and analysis. Arranging security personnel for out-of-hours issuing of stock items to production departments. The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience: Experience of working in a stores environment. Procurement experience, with this having been gained in the metals manufacturing sector an advantage but not essential. Fork Lift Truck licence. Competent working with Microsoft Office (Excel & Word). Knowledge of Sage (FUSION) would be an advantage. Working to a quality assurance standard (ISO 9001). Knowledge of COSHH safety data information. The ability to organise own workload. The ability to read technical drawings would also be advantageous.
