Occupational Therapist (36hpw) across 5 working days.Billingham Grange provides treatment and care for individuals experiencing enduring mental health illness and behaviour that may challenge. It is a 50-bedded Independent Hospital with three age and gender-specific wards. Our admission criteria is for working-age adults with enduring and progressive mental disorder, acquired brain injury, cognitive impairment, complex and challenging behaviour and forensic step-down.The Billingham Grange provides treatment and care under the provision of the Mental Health Act, DoLS, or as an Informal Patient. Treatment and care pathways are formulated, delivered and reviewed by a highly skilled Multi-disciplinary Team.The hospital currently has a CQC rating of Outstanding!We require a candidate with a Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy and who is registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).Experience of working in mental health settings is desirable. The position is suitable for newly qualified Occupational Therapists.Mentorship, additional on the job training (technical skills) and supervision to be provided by Senior Occupational Therapist who is based on-site.This exciting role will provide opportunities for the right candidate to make a difference to the lives of individuals and groups of Patients in our Hospital.
