Our client is a leading International Manufacturer of precision engineered components and systems for tolerance critical applications.The business has a worldwide presence and is a major supplier to the petrochemical market. The success of the company has been built on developing quality products in rapid lead times supported by a focused approach to customer service.About The Maintenance Technician RoleThey are looking for an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician (Mechanical & Electrical) to join their team to support the Maintenance Supervisor in ensuring both electrical and mechanical statutory compliance. Key responsibilities of our Maintenance Technician will include: Working safely throughout all activities in line with the Companies safety standards and procedures, ensuring a full Risk Assessment is carried out prior to undertaking any taskThe maintaining of a safe electrical infrastructureEnsuring applicable compliance is maintainedResponding to electrical breakdowns & faults and managing planned & reactive work in a timely and logical mannerCarry out electrical installation work as requiredUsing appropriate data and systems to manage the sites electrical & control systemsLiaise with and assist in the managing of third party contractorsLiaise and engage with stakeholders at all levelsBe actively involved in the sites Energy Management StrategyWhat they are looking for in our Maintenance Technician :*City & Guilds electrical qualification 17th Edition & 2391.*Recognised apprenticeship (Electrical or Mechanical biased).*Knowledge of plant control and the use of PLC and control systems.*Enthusiastic and computer literate, with good interpersonal skills along with the ability to work as part of a team or unsupervised.
