CDS Recruitment & Training Limited are working with our client who are looking to recruit an experienced Fabrications Inspector on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Fabrications Production manager, the main purpose of the role is to Inspect fabricated assemblies at various stages of assembly. Other responsibilities are as follows:- Inspect fabricated assemblies at various stages of assembly. Dye penetrant of assemblies. Completion of material location sheets. Checking completed assemblies against final inspection report. PMI testing of materials and welds. Weld procedure checking. Inspection of assemblies as per customer quality plan/drawings. Liaise with appropriate personnel. Working safely throughout all activities in line with company safety standards and procedures. General 5S housekeeping / Operator PPM. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS * Please only apply if you have experience or the relevant qualifications* Able to read and interpret fabrication drawings. ASNT DPI Level 2 Certification Able to assist in fabrication of assemblies when necessary. Good communication skills: both written and verbal. A good understanding of health & safety, environmental issues and quality rules. DESIRABLE CSWIP Level 3.0.
