Job Description

Position - Deputy ManagerEmployment type - PermanentLocation - Instow, near Bideford, DevonSalary - £30,000 - £36,000 p.a Hours - 2 x 24 hour shifts with 4 days off, then repeatBenefits:

They provide an excellent induction and ensure all staff receive ongoing training,individualised development plans and a supportive working environment.About the role - As a Deputy Manager reporting to the registered manager, you will ensure the home is safe and secure for the children, giving them a sense of belonging. You and your teams aim is the help each child grow emotionally andovercome any areas of weakness, working within the sectors regulations. Duties include managing residential Support Workers, working within budgets, establishing relationships with stakeholders and external agencies, contribute to care planning, report writingand rotas.Qualifications and Experience required - We are looking for senior residential children support worker experience within a residential setting. You will need working knowledge of SEMHD and behaviours that at times can be challenging. Youwill also be able to maintain confidentiality, be a role model and aspire the take the next step up into home management.
