Job Description

We are looking for an inspirational, experiencedPrimary Teacher, holding QTS or equivalent, to join Harris Garrard Academy as Aspiring SENCO.Your opportunityWe are looking for an inspirational teacher who is passionate about Inclusion and SEND and wishes to develop their expertise in this area. Candidates must hold QTS and have experience of teaching students with SEN. Candidates must also be willing to complete the National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO) within the first 2 years of appointment. This is a really exciting and unique opportunity to promote SEND across an all through setting, and the successful candidate will play a vital role in transforming and shaping SEND practice at Harris Garrard Academy.The successful candidate will have experience of teaching both KS1 and KS2. There may be a small class teaching commitment in addition to having oversight of the primary SEND provision and delivering targeted intervention sessions.
