Job Description

We are seeking to appoint an individual who is proven within a Senior Site Manager role and has a track record of delivering new build residential schemes and can successfully lead a site team to deliver an exceptional quality product, with key focuson detail and quality.Based on site, at Beverley, Hull, and reporting to the Contracts Manger the Senior Site Manager will manage a building site to ensure that the development is built to Company and NHBC standards using specified drawings and instructions, within budget andon programme.This is a fast-paced development, and you will need to be assertive and calm under pressure in order to achieve critical objectives, without compromising quality standards, and meet numerous construction deadlines, whilst liaising with a wide range of externalcontractors, suppliers, and in-house teams across different business functions.You will have a sound knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation and holds a black or white CSCS card. Ideally have or be working towards NVQ Level 3, or NVQ Level 4 Site Management, preferably on the NHBC Manager Accreditation programme and be a qualifiedFirst Aider at Work.Benefits

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise all direct labour as may be necessary and co-ordinate the activities of all the trades and disciplines involved on the site so that all operations are performed efficiently and in accordance with the construction programme and the quality andcost standards required by the Company
  • Ensure that all work is kept on programme and that all details as specified in the drawings and instructions are adhered to. Precision and accuracy are vital in this connection.
  • Achieve targets related to cost control in connection with the use of plant, labour and materials and provide feedback as necessary to the Surveyor.
  • The Senior Site Manager is responsible for supervising the operation, care and security of all plant, materials, equipment, and offices on site. Any incidents of theft must be reported in accordance with security procedures and the Contracts Manager shouldbe informed of any site considered vulnerable to theft.

  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent plus HNC/ HND with a trade background.
  • Good computer skills and experience are required as data input onto a system is a requirement of the role.
