Job Description

Motor Vehicle Tutor (22/563)£26,910 - £33,830 FTE plus market rate supplement of £2,26237 hours per weekPermanentLocation: BeverleyEast Riding College is part of the TEC Partnership, which is a large, innovative, dynamic and financially sound organisation.We are now offering a fantastic opportunity to join the East Riding College in the role of Motor Vehicle Tutor. If you are a team player who is passionate about helping learners reach their full potential, then we want to hear from you!About the roleYou will undertake a key role in the training and assessment of full-time Motor Vehicle students across the Curriculum area. As well as this, you will deliver lessons, both practical and theory, and provide appropriate support to the Motor Vehicle studentsup to (and including) Level 3.About the personThe successful candidate will hold:

  • A relevant Level 3 or equivalent in the subject area
  • Industry experience in a related environment
  • Level 2 /GCSE English and Maths
  • Teaching QualificationCert Ed/PGCE Qualified to national standards for assessors (or willingness to achieve)
  • ILT skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, Moodle, Microsoft TEAMS, Internet and Powerpoint
  • Strong Interpersonal skills and the ability to work on own initiative to deadlines
  • Effective communication both verbal and written
