Job Title: Maintenance LabourerLocation: East Riding of YorkshireSector: Facilities Management Type: PermanentSalary: £23,000 plus travel and overtime ratesSutton Recruitment are accepting applications for an experienced Maintenance Labourer to join an ever growing business who are experts within the Facilities Management sector.A business that have been in operation for over 25 years, a driving force that has allowed growth internally and an impressive reputation for value, expertise and quality providing multiple services to both new and existing clientsRequirements• Carry out typical maintenance-based duties within a retail/commercial environments.• Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls etc.• Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues• Install appliances and equipment• Conduct maintenance tasks such as painting, replacing light bulbs• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation)• Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm)• Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations• Report to a facilities or maintenance manager for issues• Perform adhoc duties such as cleaning activities, upkeep of working areasJob DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Maintenance Labourer to perform upkeep tasks. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are tidy and functional.Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge.
