We do this by offering products and services which meet our members changing needs, and by contributing to the vibrancy of the community in which werebased.What youll be doing...As the Financial Controller reporting into the CFO this is a vital role within Beverley Building Society and youll be delivering across a number of key areas including:* Lead the financial, management, regulatory and operational reporting processes undertaken by the finance team.* Timely production of the monthly management accounts and financial packs for committees, with variance analysis and commentary* Build and develop insightful Management Information to support business decisions.* Lead, motivate, support and develop the finance team.* Significant involvement in production of the key annual regulatory documents -ICAAP (Capital), ILAAP (Liquidity) and Recovery Plan.* Ensure regulatory knowledge is kept up to date and act in an advisory capacity for the senior leadership team.* Ensure controls and processes are fit for purpose with regular reviews and tests.* Maintain financial policies, testing and updating periodically.* Ensure pricing models and forecasting models are fit for purpose and updated accordingly.* Be a key finance lead on business change projectsWhat youll need to offer....To be successfully considered for the role of Financial Controller, candidates will possess the following skills, experience and behaviours:* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)* Extensive experience of leading the preparation of financial statements and management information* Proven ability to interpret regulatory requirements* Experience of process improvements and delivering change* Proven experience of stakeholder management and being the finance lead on committees
